Mike, I don't have the USB Clear modem anymore. I
traded it for a second home modem. That way my wife
gets better reception than the USB modem.
The biggest problem with Clear is that I am outside the
service area by about 500 feet and their signal strength
is highly variable. Last night the RSSI was -93 dBm, this
morning it was -82dBm and I was getting 3.77Mbps down
and .76Mbps up. If I can find a way to get at least a 15db
gain antenna with a 25' lead on my modem so I can
mount it up high I should be golden with signal strength.
So far no one has successfully attached an external
antenna to the Clear CPEi25150 home modem.
