Well I don't think I have a problem getting out of the 2
year agreement because Clear never delivered 1/2 of the
6 Mbps they promised. Today I had a DL speed of 0.027
Mbps with a RSSI of -88 to -93 dBm. Called Clear support
and the idiot on the other end only had her cheat sheet to
work with, no brains. About 2 hours after the call my
modem was back to it's plain ol' shitty mode of 2.7 Mbps
after I re-plugged the power for the third time. Just 100
times better than earlier in the day. What's weird is that
my wife's modem 1 foot away was running at RSSI of
-84 dBm all day which my usual db level too. Not as good
as the -78 dBm when first installed though.

Also checking out Cox Preferred that would cost me $60
for a 13 Mbps connection after use fees and taxes. Be
nice if I ever get 6Mbps from Clear for $50 a month for
both modems. They need more towers!

There that should take care of my frustrations for a
while.

Thanks all for the responses.

Tom
