Thanks for the update. I'll make a point of checking out the new LTS release as soon as it becomes available. I'm in no hurry: After 4 months work, my Fedora 12 install is configured and running well with all the fixes up-to-date.
The LXDE version of Mint might be an option for my little 10-year-old Thinkpad 240X. It only has 192MB of RAM, 500MHz Pentium that runs a 166MHz when on battery. I've been looking for a "light", full-featured distro to replace my custom install of Debian Etch XFCE. I've been evaluating Vector-Lite as a possible replacement as well, but it's a little sparse even for me.
