[Lvlug] Need to Restore some MS Backup Files on Tape to Linux --- if Possible

Hi Michael,

The worst part of the tape backup/restore process is that it is so slow...  
It took me 6 hours to restore 18 Gigs of compressed data.  Anyway, that is how my client backed up 
their data a few years ago. I was fortunate enough to be able to read it, even though I 
had to boot my Server into Windows to do it.

Not to my knowledge...Why would they backup to tape, horrible =(
 
Tapes haven't been adequate storage for about a decade now...Since the hard
drive cost has decreased. I won't get into that debate though :P
