[LVAS] FW: LVAS OC March Object

I was very excited to see this magnificent sketch made by John Goss of the Astronomical League. When I see work like this it makes me want to attempt better sketching. 

 

When I first saw this sketch and the precision of the trapezium stars, it just about knocked my socks off. A great sketch indeed. I have always liked to see comparative views using different telescopes.

 

I would like to introduce John to the LVAS. John is a candidate for Vice President of the AL, and is a highly skilled and advanced observer. We are fortunate indeed, to have this quality of leadership in the Astronomical League.
