All,

Frank Barrett just sent this most extraordinary image, and just thought it might be useful for all who might want to start working on the April object this weekend.

I plan on using this as my guide for next months object.

The March objects, IC 405, IC 410 and NGC-1893 are going to be difficult for us humble visual observers, but will be a treat for all of the APer's. I attempted the other night poor transparency, with no luck. I could not even define the boundaries of NGC-1893, due in part to the rich star field. I am hopeful that I will be more successful under better conditions.

Dr. Don Olive and another local observer did some visual work on this trio of objects this past Saturday night. I think that they were more successful that I was. Saturday night was pretty good.

Dr. Dire has already submitted his most extraordinary image of IC 405. Again this an APer's delight. Jim has also agreed to submit addtional technical information for this month, in his accompanying write-up..

I am especially anxious to see what Rob's Mallincam will present on this months objects...I 405, I 410, and N-1893

The weather is not looking too promising for all of the planned Messier marathons in this region for the weekend.

Good luck with yours...Roger
