Matt,

Re: Baader Hyperion Zoom EP

Read all the information on Cloudy Nights...impressive. I did not know that they were so popular, and in such demand.

Thanks again.

I have a Celestron zoom. Its just OK. Its useful in a pinch, but FOV and clarity are not so great.

the Baader clickstop zoom for 215$ is pretty much the best out there from my reading. Many claim its just as good as a prime eyepiece at the higher power end.

there is a long thread regarding the zoom here:http://www.cloudynights.com/ubbthreads/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/3432104/page/0/view/collapsed/sb/5/o/all/fpart/1/vc/1

All,

I have always been curious about the quality of a zoom EP. Any experience with one? Do they work to a satisfactory level?
