I posted another new photo to my Scopegeek Album. This one shows where I've indexed and marked the integration times of my VSS so I don't have to count the seconds between flashes. I placed an index mark on the knob with a silver Sharpie Marker and then turned the knob to increase integrations in 5 second intervals. I measured the integration times with a stop watch to get as close as possible to 5 second interval increases and marked each increase with a black Sharpie Marker. Hopefully, you can be a little neater with the labeling that I was, but this will give you an idea to consider. This will make it a lot easier to tell about how many seconds the integration is set for without having to count the seconds between flashes after each change.
My plan of operation is to set the knob to some appropriate value based on the conditions and type of object, and then use the Mallincam control software to switch between Hyper Off, Hyper On, and Hyper x2. For example, if I have the knob set to my 10-second index mark, I would have 3 integration settings settings of 2.1, 10, and 20 seconds available to me via the Mallincam Control software without having to move to the camera to make the change.

Hope this is a useful idea to those that own the VSS.
