[LVAS] Star Testing

Gary, 

 

I have been wanting one of these for the longest time. I did not know that one could be purchased. If you recall there have been several articles over the past many years about how to make one in S&T. However, it always seemed to me that it would to too difficult to get the holes cut properly. 

 

Thank you very much. I am going to order one for sure...wow! Just never knew. The $25.00 sounds good also. 

 

I have spent many hours performing star test on instruments from my back deck with the scopes set up in the northern shadow of my house. Sounds crazy but this is a very enjoyable thing. I have collimated quite a few Schmidt-Cassegrain scopes using this method. 

 

I am for sure going to share your information with some others that I think would be interested.
