[LVAS] FW: NGC-474 Galaxy Cluster

This is one of my favorite galaxy clusters. It is a compact group in Pisces and this might be a good object for December. All galaxies will fit nicely within a 1/2° FOV. I was using a 20mm Erfle and a 2x barlow with my 10-inch for a magnification of 114x. The FOV is 30 arc minutes or 1/2°  

 

If you are not very interested in cataloged dimensions this might be something to consider. If you will compare my drawings of each galaxy and note the dimenstions that I have listed you will see a problem...as I did.

 

NGC-474 has a cataloged size or dimension of 7.9, but is clearly the smallest of the "sketched" group.
