When I got out there about 4:30, there was a small storm. 25 mph
winds and light rain. It moved on by 5:30, and gave us a beautiful
triple rainbow.

I was able to set up an H-Alpha scope for the science teacher's
picnic in the parking lot. Had some good prominences. I and a
couple of the teachers got to view a spectacular sunset through the
scope, and some clouds partially obscured the sun, and it moved
behind the sharp silhouette of the mountains, all in the deep red of
the filter.
