Hey guys! Just wanted to share one of the results I have gotten from my
astro-photography setup that I have asked about on here before.
For the curious:
This is one one minute shot of the Orion Nebula. I did some processing with
"Astronomy Tools" by Noel Carboni (
http://actions.home.att.net/Astronomy_Tools_For_Full_Version.html), mainly
eliminating the light pollution, and creating a false Hydrogen-Alpha filter
to overlay for better color. Now I need to practice better polar alignment
so I can get rid of the annoying field rotation!
Setup:
Unguided
Sky-Watcher Equinox 80
Sky-Watcher EQ5 Mount
Nikon D40
Thanks for the help guys!
