I got there about 4:15. Calm as the eye of a hurricane. Rob and I
set up. If we're going to continue to go out there, we need to get
some traffic cones to control the traffic, keeps the headlights out
of our eyes.

The sky was a little darker than Redstone. Vegas was bright, in
fact, brighter than usual. On the way home, I saw that the Speedway
lights were on, and I think that actually added to the regular Vegas
light dome.

Along about 7, the wind started coming up. The few remaining public
decided they'd seen enough. Temperature was around 47 degrees. The
wind became gusty, and was shaking the telescopes too much for visual
observing, so we closed down and hit the road about 8pm.

There is definite potential for this site. We'll have to see if we
can work out a schedule between Red Rocks and VOF.
