[Lvas] New Virgo Diamond Sketch

LVAS all,

 

I am mailing my latest sketch of the Virgo Diamond today. This will be given away at your next meeting...hopefully someone will want it.

 

The drawing was made using my 10-inch reflector at 160x from my backyard here in Boiling Springs, North Carolina.   

 

It is small and faint. I tried my best to draw each star to the proper magnitude relative to all of the components in this beautiful little asterism. I did not want to embellish the object, but attempted to draw "verbatim" what I saw through my telescope.  

 

I will sign and put the sequel number on the lower right corner in the blue.
