I would like to introduce our newest contributor and participate to our "observing project"...his name is Paul Webb.
Paul has already sent his notes for this months object which is NGC-2403 in Camelopardalis. Paul used a Celestron C-14 for his "visual" observational work on this galaxy.
Paul, let me say...your notes are excellent.
Paul is a highly skilled and advanced "visual" observer. He is also the founder of the Cleveland County Astronomical Society back in 1986. He now resides several hours away in South Carolina.
I would consider Paul to be a broker of used high end telescopes and equatorial mounts. He specializing in high end refractors. If you are looking for a used Astro-Physics refractor or an AP 1200 mount or something comparable, this is your contact.
I have heard third party stories about his exceptional abilities and skills in working "on" and with large refractors. We are talking 7-inches and up...and you know, made in America.
Please see his observatory in a private observatory complex in South Carolina @ www.machunter.org
Paul, we are honored to have you "sign on" as a contributor.
Best regards to all....Roger Ivester
I can see how it might be possible for a man to look down upon the earth and be an atheist, but I cannot conceive how he could look up into the heavens and say there is no God. Abraham Lincoln
