This is certainly not the usual months-ahead LVAS planning, but here goes:

SCHOOL OBSERVING MARCH 30; 7-9 PM

I've just firmed up an observing night for up to 80 GATE (gifted/talented) 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students at Martha P King Elementary School in Boulder City, next Monday March 30. (March 31 is cloud/rain backup night). This is short notice so that it can occur before Spring Break and longer daylight evenings would keep these younger ones up, and so that it quickly follows a constellation hike that many of these kids attended on a field trip last month.

Observing will be 7:00 to 9:00 PM, packing up at 9:00 sharp due to the school night. We can start with moon and Saturn as night falls, and the ISS flyover at 8:55 will signal that it's time to wrap up.

Access for set-up will be at 6:30

Martha P King ES is located on the North side of Adams, east of the 4-way stop with Buchanan in Boulder City.
