Rob,

"Absolutely excellent". This is my favorite type of image. It is not overexposed and the intricate details of the nebula are clearly visible including the faint stars.

I commend you on your efforts in describing what you have seen...again excellent. I have scanned your image and have attempted to show the cardinal points which sometimes can be difficult.

Rob, I think you will agree...observing an object will never be the same as you will be looking for the "unseen". I could sense your enthusiasm and a brief note of each object will become the norm...

Thank you also for your NGC 2403 image which is our next months object for review. I hope we can gain a few more notes on this one. Rob, if you have not observed N-2403 before...I think you will agree it is a bright and fabulous galaxy. I have found it over the years to be a "jewel" seldom observed by amateurs.

Your image caused me to review my orientation on my notes on the "observing Project" description. I listed it as orientated of NE-SW, but it should read SE-NW as your image clearly indicates.

The power was blinking off and on while I was writing the report, and did not have time to edit. I was trying to complete the report and send it before the power went off completely due to the heavy wet snow. It is truly a winter wonderland this morning.

Roger,

Sorry, I emailed you the larger TIFF file of my image. Attached here is a much smaller JPEG file if you should need it.
