LVAS all,
I received an e-mail from Jim Lamm, president of the Charlotte Amateur Astronomy Club. The organization was founded in 1954 and has several hundred members. They also have their own personal observatory with a very large equatorially mounted telescope.
Jim said that he was going to bring up the LVAS website at their next meeting.
Purpose: Jim just wanted it to be known that he and others were very impressed with the LVAS website, and the new post on the observers challenge. The Virgo Diamond, and the Leo galaxy group. There seems to be much interest in the upcoming M-13 and the propeller also.
This is the third e-mail that I have received today, complimenting the work and efforts of the LVAS.
I would also like to say that Jim Mullaney has been reading the latest post on the observers challenge by president Rob. He was one of the three e-mails, and wanted it to be known that he was very impressed with the quality of the work being done.
Just thought that everyone would like to know that there are a lot of serious observers and astronomers looking at the LVAS website.
