[Lvas] SkyWatcher EQ5 Power

Hi guys. I just got an EQ5 mount, but the battery pack I got won't charge.
Is there a way to plug this right into an extension cord so that I can try
it out until I can get a new battery pack?
Any tips would be great, thanks!
