Go ahead and announce.  Red Rocks is the main event I've considered 
for bringing out the scope.  The other semi-private camping trips, I 
bring my equipment to do photography.  But Red Rocks is not about us, 
but about the public.  I will probably bring the club scope to Red 
Rocks from here onward.

Out of curiosity, do you (or anyone else) think I should bring the 
club scope to events such as Cathedral Gorge, VOF, Death Valley?  I 
would not use it, but would there be anyone attending, that did not 
have their own equipment, that we would trust with the use of such a scope?
