All,
Excellent book by the way. I was able to find all the doubles I couldn't with the the regular Tirion. I'm doing the AL double star observing list and the Tirion doesn't list the Struve numbers. This atlas does so very well.

LVAS all,
Just wanted to forward this e-mail from the "True Master" of double and red stars, Jim Mullaney.
Fred Rayworth has his new book, The Cambridge Double Star Atlas with Wil Tirion. I have received a very positive report on this book from Fred.
Fred, I shared your sentiments with Jim this morning.

Thank you Roger. Two things talking about red stars. Observers must be careful to not confuse Y CVN with TU CVN, which is reddish and very closeby. I call it "The False La Superba." And one of the reddest stars I've ever seen is T LYR near Vega. - Jim
