I am surprised also that the images of Jim Gianoulaksi of NV, Brett Clapper, Steve Davis and Dr. Jim Dire all of NC compared so well. 

 

Thanks Brett for sharing this image produced by a very large telescope.

Roger,

Good morning. I came across the attached image while gathering distance data on the m66 group. The image was from the AAO 3.9 meter telescope. That's almost 13 feet! I was comparing the level of detail against the image Steve and I obtained and expected more detail in the AAO image...
