Tom,
Wow! Those are excellent notes and drawings. A fine job. I'm crossing my fingers I can get out next weekend and do the same.
Thank you Roger for carrying the torch!
Roger, I am honored to be receiving a sketch you did of the Virgo Diamond. It will sit in a place of honor on my wall.
Did anyone else get out last night? I'd like to hear a report if any of you are willing to take a few minutes.
Fred

LVAS all,
I misread Tom's original report. He did see the fifth star and supplied an excellent sketch. Tom may be the first person to visually observe the fifth star.
Weather and conditions permitting I am going to attempt tonight with my 10-inch. I really don't expect to see the fifth star, but I am going to try.
Roger
