Re: Virgo Diamond

 

Just received an e-mail from Tom English. Saturday, 8:28 A:M eastern time. 

 

Tom saw the diamond last night using a 16-inch Meade LX200. He said that he saw it immediately at 127x using a 32mm eyepiece...showed well at 194x (21mm) and looked great at 387x (10.5). 

 

He could not see the fifth star under great conditions. 

 

I will send the LVAS "Diamond Sketch" no later than next week.
