Paul,

Thanks for the comments.

I haven't stacked any MallinCam images yet. I've just been impressed
with what I can see in these short exposures. The thing I like about
the MC is that I can see the images almost immediately on my 9" Speco
color monitor right there in the field. And it even does a good job in
the light pollution around Vegas.

I'm still learning about all the capabilities of the MC. The fast
shutter speeds are for viewing the planets and the moon and obviously
with the right solar filters, the Sun. I'm still experimenting with
combinations of shutter speed, gain, and white balance. I'll continue to
post my settings for the images I capture. I hope to have some more
images before the January club presentation where I'm going to talk
about video-assisted observing. As I mentioned, I'm seeing things with
the MC that I would never be able to see with my aging eyes. The MC
will keep me observing for a long time. I also enjoy broadcasting with
the guys I've met on the Cloudy Nights forum for Video and
Electronically Assisted Astronomy. It's a real hoot.

Thanks again for the look at my site and the comments. Take care.

Rob
