About time to start discussing where to go to observe...

This year, the main peak is August 12 (Tuesday), sometime in the 
daylight morning hours.  The moon is a waxing gibbous, setting about 1:30 am.

So I'm thinking Cold Creek or Mercury, setting up about 9pm on the 
11th, catching a nap, then getting up about 1:30a to enjoy the show.

The "Mercury" site is basically getting off the highway at Mercury, 
and off-roading to the west a little way.  I've actually seen someone 
(scouts?  cyclists?) camping in this area from time to time.  I need 
to take a drive up there (maybe today) and look around a bit.

Any interest this year?
