[Lvas] Tonight, Friday

Robert,
 
Just looked at the satellite (and outside) and a big band of clouds is moving in from the south. That wasn't supposed to happen!
 
The band travels all the way to the Salton Sea so it isn't looking good. Maybe they will dissipate after dark, but even if it does, the transparency won't be that good for deep sky.
 
What do you think?

I will be more than happy to meet you up there tonight if you are going. I usually observe at Blue Tree primitive campground which is just before Sawmill....more privacy and no asphalt.

All, Is anyone interested in going out tonight? It is looking like Saturday is going to be bad, so far. Just in case, I'd hate to miss out if tonight turns out to be the killer night. I'm thinking Sawmill Trailhead. Fred
