Welcome to the Las Vegas Linux Users Group
Linux makes computing fun again!
Our aim is to spread the word about Linux, a free, industrial strength, secure, operating system which can replace your desktop OS. We meet every
last Saturday of the month to share our experiences with Linux and to answer questions anyone might have.
Our meetings are free and open to everyone. At these meetings, we can help you install and configure Linux on your computer. Just bring it to our meeting. To find out about when and where we meet, check below.
Like most other Linux User Groups (LUG), we maintain a
mailing list. Most members use the list to get answers to any Linux questions they may have and to keep up to date with what the LVLUG is up to.
Subscribe to the list if you have questions about Linux or the LVLUG.
Feel free to browse our site. Check out some of the popular presentations on the right to get an idea of what Linux can do. For a more complete list, go to the downloads section.
